Rick has been with the Imaging and eData support’s technical team at Midwest Paralegal since 2003. He works extensively with Summation software and assists in the training and technical support areas.  Rick has expanded the knowledge and use of many software and hardware applications – especially in Excel.  Adding to Midwest’s services, Rick completed the Digital Intelligence Computer Forensics with FRED course and the AccessData Bootcamp. “I’ve always been one who likes to find the missing piece of the puzzle, this is why forensics really suits me.” Rick has presented on Computer Forensics and eDiscovery at many trade conferences, including the Milwaukee Bar Associations Law and Technology Conference in 2005.

Rick received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1987 majoring in Mass Communications and completed graduate studies with a Masters of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1996.  Rick has broad experience with various types of systems including PC’s, Servers, AS400, and Mainframe.  He has put his vast knowledge of Microsoft Office products to work in many aspects of his work here.  Prior to his arrival at Midwest, Rick was an Operations Manager for an $800M distribution facility for a division of Footlocker Inc.
