Shawn R. Olley is the owner of Midwest Paralegal Services, Inc., Milwaukee, WI and Midwest Imaging a division of Midwest Paralegal Services, Inc. Shawn received her B.A. from UW-Eau Clare in Criminal Justice (1981). She received her Paralegal Certificate of Completion from Roosevelt University, Chicago, IL. (1982) Shawn has worked as a litigation paralegal in Chicago, IL and Milwaukee WI, before opening Midwest in September 1989. Shawn currently serves as a non-lawyer member of Milwaukee Bar Association, Technology Committee; she also has been a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association, Paralegal Task Force since 1997. She is a member of the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin and Wisconsin Association of Trial Lawyers. She was awarded the Wisconsin Paralegal Association's Paralegal of the Year award in 2000 and the Legal Assistant Today National Paralegal of the Year award in 2003 (runner-up). She was named in 2005 as one of the “Top Ten Women in Law” by the Wisconsin Law Journal. Shawn was named a “Woman of Influence” (Entrepreneurial Category) by the Milwaukee Business Journal, 2005.
